Problems with the BodyBugg

Here are just a few of the problems I have been experiencing with the Apex BodyBugg lately:

  • Server Down. The MyApex website not being available because the server is down. Can’t get onto the site at all
  • Re-Install Software. I have to re-install the calorie reading software at least once a day. It’s prompted when I hit “Calories Burned” to upload from the BodyBugg arm device to the website. It is a royal pain in the you-know-what because A) I have to re-install something which takes up space on the memory, B) I have to restart the computer every time and C) this takes a lot of time. When I am having to do this multiple times a day, I get really pissed off.

I have called and spoke to Tech Support many many times. Once I was on the phone with them for over 2 hours. I have all the right things, and every time they have checked, everything is the right version (like Java, Safari, IE, etc.). They do the remote thing where the tech guy can be “on” my computer, moving around and pretty much controlling my computer. They never find the cause of the problem, and that is VERY frustrating.

For these reasons, I am not sure I will subscribe again after the 6 months is up. I will check the other options out there. There is NO reason I should be having this many problems, or why the tech support people at APEX cannot find the issue.

Anybody else out there have these same issues? Any suggestions?
