Welcome back Fat2FitMama!

I posted on the Fat2FitMama Facebook page:

The goal: lose 60 lbs in 6 months. The reward: one heck of a 30th birthday present. Today starts my new journey. Fat2FitMama is back, and she’s motivated!

Yep. I re-activated the BodyBugg, made my diet and activity plan, set goals and made myself accountable to both YouTube and friends & family. I started this journey back in April 2009 intending to make it to the end. I got lost along the way, but once again found it, and I’m gonna make it this time.

With my 30th birthday in almost exactly 6 months (yesterday was the 6 month mark), I have a solid goal of meeting on or before that date. A great birthday present to myself.

Now… I need to get the camera working again so that I can start doing my weekly progress pics once again and I am now vlogging on YouTube on Wednesdays. Weigh-in days will be Mondays.

Thankfully I belong to a great gym/athletic club, so I can continue to do my favorite Zumba workouts, in addition to classes, swimming, cardio, weight training and maybe add in some running??? We’ll see.

Thanks to those of you who have continued to support and encourage me over the last 6-9 months while I was “lost”. It means a lot that you stuck around and saw me at my lows.

SO, with that being said, I’m once again BACK. I’ve said it before, but this time, please hold me to it. Be mean if you have to 😉

Where have I been???

I’m so sorry I have been neglecting my blog! It’s been a challenge lately to keep everything up to date.

I have been updating the youtube videos, so I wil paste them all here, but I am alive, and doing well!

I started a new challenge for myself… I will paste the link or video here so you can read more about it.

Week 26 mid-week update

Hello friends and family!

Yes, I have gone public.

For many of you, this is the first time you’re seeing this blog and reading about this journey. It may be shocking to some, exciting to others, and perhaps inspiring.

Thank you for your support and encouragement. I am happy to share with all of you, and look forward to hearing from more of you in the comments!

I must share with you though, I am nervous. I have never-ever shared my weight with most of you, and surely have not allowed any of you to see the whole picture of my struggle.  This can be very ugly at times.

Take some time to catch up on it all. I started at week 1 or 2 back in April, so it might take you a while. I am of course open to questions, comments and ideas. I am not open to negativity or criticism. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Constructive criticism is okay, but I think you know what I mean.

Week 21 weigh in and GOOD NEWS

Week 21 weigh is – down exactly 1 pound to 199.2 – back in ONEderland at least!



I need a logo made. I tried to do it myself, but nothing came out right.
Anybody out there make logos? This one is so simple, I am sure the person who knows how to do this would have it in 10 minutes.
