Week 32 weigh in

Hello friends and family!

Yes, I have gone public.

For many of you, this is the first time you’re seeing this blog and reading about this journey. It may be shocking to some, exciting to others, and perhaps inspiring.

Thank you for your support and encouragement. I am happy to share with all of you, and look forward to hearing from more of you in the comments!

I must share with you though, I am nervous. I have never-ever shared my weight with most of you, and surely have not allowed any of you to see the whole picture of my struggle.  This can be very ugly at times.

Take some time to catch up on it all. I started at week 1 or 2 back in April, so it might take you a while. I am of course open to questions, comments and ideas. I am not open to negativity or criticism. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Constructive criticism is okay, but I think you know what I mean.

Thank you for taking time to read this, and I hope you’ll stick around for a while.

Love, Lauren aka Fat2FitMama

Week 22 weigh-in and DIET CHANGES

Well, I am sorry to report this is the worst weigh in I have had in the 22 weeks I have been doing this.

This week I am UP 4.6 pounds. Yep…. I almost gained 5 pounds.

I am so disappointed with myself. I failed in every way I could this past week, and I am so mad.

I could sit here and name off everything, but I’d rather focus on what I am going to do, and the changes I am making.

Starting today, I am back on track. Recording every single bite, every sip, everything. No more Diet Coke. Coffee only 4 times a week (rather than everyday). I am starting MediClear again on Monday to cleanse my body of the crap I have been putting into it, as well as the food I am allergic and sensitive to (dairy and gluten). It lasts 3-4 weeks and is HARDCORE. For one week I will be free of almost all food except fruit and veggies – completely vegan and nearly all raw.

I will also be reducing my calorie intake to 1500 and upping my burn to 3500. This is absolutely necessary to start reaching my goals again… I am 19 pounds behind on my goals as of today, and I need to catch up.

This is my rebirth. This is my second change. This is it.

Since my BodyBugg subscription is expiring in less than a month, as well as my gym membership, I need to do something to change those as well. I am going to renew my BodyBugg sub for another 12 months, but that is $80. I am NOT going to renew my membership with 24 Hour Fitness, however. I have had too many problems with them, and will not give them anymore of my hard-earned money. I would LIKE to join the athletic club by my house, but it’s so expensive, there is no way I can do that until I get my commission check from the part-time marketing job i am doing, and that will not be until February. Anybody feeling generous and want to donate??? Just kidding. Maybe not kidding… hahah!

I will continue to make my YouTube videos and will be journaling t more on here.

That’s all I have for now. I’m sure I will be adding stuff or revising more over the next few days. I’ll also post more specific stuff too, but for now, I need to clean out the pantry. There is a lot of temptations that NEED TO GO.

Will you hold me accountable? Will you call me out when I need it? Can you support my efforts?

Money Woes at the Gym.

Pics of BodyBugg display from my 1607 cal burn!

Please pardon that these are flipped in mirror image (or backwards/upside down, who knows anymore), I don’t know how to change them yet (anyone know how?).

This shows that I did burn indeed 1607 calories dancing, to all disbelief!

Week 8 weigh in

Today I weigh in at 216.0 – That’s 2.8 pounds down since last week, bringing my total to 25 pounds down since April 18!

I also did my body fat percentage this week. I don’t know what the mm number mean – he used the pinchy thing to get them, but I do know that my percentage is down from 37.7 on May 4th. Here’s this week’s stats
Weight: 216 lbs.   Body Fat %:  35.6%   Bicep: 10mm    Triceps: 22mm   Subscap..:  27mm  Suprailiac:  37mm

The number was not big this week, but I still feel good. I am on target, and the percentage is going down. I plan to take inches measurements tomorrow, so I will post those soon.

Everything else has been good so far. I work out with my trainer Joe every Friday, this week I did shadow boxing which was fun. I’ve been sick most all week, so my appetite has been gone (which I don’t mind) so I have been eating a lot of protein. I went shopping yesterday and got some size 14 jeans and a size large shirt!!! No more plus size, HECK YEAH! Had to get a new bra too, cause the girls are shrinking more than anything 😦

Thanks to all of my readers. I’ve been sharing my blog more often lately, hoping to gain some support and accountability. I think I might make up some shirts at CafePress… I’m going to make a simple Fat2FitMama logo soon.

That’s all for now. 🙂

Problems with the BodyBugg

Here are just a few of the problems I have been experiencing with the Apex BodyBugg lately:

  • Server Down. The MyApex website not being available because the server is down. Can’t get onto the site at all
  • Re-Install Software. I have to re-install the calorie reading software at least once a day. It’s prompted when I hit “Calories Burned” to upload from the BodyBugg arm device to the website. It is a royal pain in the you-know-what because A) I have to re-install something which takes up space on the memory, B) I have to restart the computer every time and C) this takes a lot of time. When I am having to do this multiple times a day, I get really pissed off.

I have called and spoke to Tech Support many many times. Once I was on the phone with them for over 2 hours. I have all the right things, and every time they have checked, everything is the right version (like Java, Safari, IE, etc.). They do the remote thing where the tech guy can be “on” my computer, moving around and pretty much controlling my computer. They never find the cause of the problem, and that is VERY frustrating.

For these reasons, I am not sure I will subscribe again after the 6 months is up. I will check the other options out there. There is NO reason I should be having this many problems, or why the tech support people at APEX cannot find the issue.

Anybody else out there have these same issues? Any suggestions?

Week 6 weigh in

Down 3.4 pounds today, bringing the total since April 18th to 20.4!

The last two weeks have been hard… seeing my weight loss stop, gain a little bit and then not move… I knew it was too early for this, so I freaked out. I changed my program, and I guess that helped.

I get so scared of the weight loss stopping, gaining and the ups and downs of it all. I’ve tried so hard everytime, only to have the weight come back on, and then some… so when I start seeing that pattern, I freak out.

So today when I finally saw a loss again, I literally breathed a sigh of relief. No plateau yet. I know it will happen eventually but I hope I am better equipt by that point.

I just bought 7 personal training sessions yesterday, so I know for the next 6 weeks  (used one yesterday)  or more, I have that ability to boot camp the weight away.

Also, bodybugg is getting on my nerves. I’ll write a post about that later. For now I am off to dinner.
